Willy Azarcoya is a concerned citizen dedicated to helping create conditions and collective capacities that will positively impact his environment’s social well-being and natural systems.
Since 2019, he has worked with NGOs, government, and private sector initiatives to make visible an ecosystem of individuals and initiatives working to facilitate transformation at local and regional levels.
In 2023, together with a group of colleagues, he successfully achieved the naming of Querétaro as one of 356 cities in the UNESCO network of Learning cities. He is currently focused on developing a series of programs and initiatives to work with young people in his region to develop capacities for more systemic and compassionate leadership through providing lifelong learning opportunities for youngsters.
As an organizational performance consultant, he is deeply committed to addressing complex problems through systemic thinking and change. He has participated in various programs, including the Presencing Institute Ecosystem Leadership Program, Ulab 1x, Ulab 2x, and Executive Champions Workshop. He has also participated in The Right Livelihood Program and the Foundations 1 Program: Introduction to Compassionate Systems Framework.
Father of three, he holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing and an MBA.
