Tracy Krys is a Director of Instruction with the Abbotsford School District, supporting system-wide work in curriculum, early learning, and school improvement.

She is committed to improving outcomes for all students by working alongside educators and leaders to strengthen instructional practice, build capacity, and align efforts across schools and the system. Her work focuses on collaboration, curiosity, and the thoughtful use of evidence to support meaningful and sustained improvement.  Tracy is in the early stages of her learning in compassionate systems, and is drawn to this work because it aligns with her belief in the importance of relationships, shared responsibility, and creating the conditions where both students and educators can do their best work.  At the core of her leadership is a clear purpose: to contribute to the growth and development of critically literate and numerate young people who are engaged in their learning and becoming thoughtful, capable, and good citizens.
