Sue Zielinski
Principal
Greater Lawrence Technical School
U.S.: Massachusetts Hub | NORTH AMERICA
Sue Zielinski serves as Principal of Greater Lawrence Technical School (GLTS) in Andover, Massachusetts. She has worked there for 15 years and been in the education field for 20 years. Currently principal, formerly she worked as Language Acquisition Facilitator and an Instructional Coach, and had the great opportunity to work to support students and colleagues in a variety of ways that include supporting English Learners, school wide literacy, new teachers and after-school programming and the Social-Emotional Learning team.
She lives in Amesbury, Massachusetts which is on the border of New Hampshire, and is the proud mother of two amazing sons in their mid-twenties. She is passionate about reading and sharing her love of reading with her students, friends and family members. She has a recent obsession with crime podcasts and is always looking for recommendations. She loves the outdoors and getting to enjoy the change of seasons living in New England. She loves to ski in the winter and go to the beach or lake in the summer. She is a runner (a very slow one) and currently training for a half-marathon this fall here in Boston. She would love to travel more and experience what the world has to offer.
Sue’s aspirations for participating in the Certificate Program for Compassionate Systems Master Practitioners were to continue to grow personally and develop a systems thinking mindset and practice. She would like to have practical experience using the tools and opening herself up to new ways of thinking.
