I am Head of Daycare and Schools, and in my daily work I am passionate about how strong communities, clear direction, and small actions can create meaningful change. Throughout my career, I have worked in leadership roles across early childhood education and schools, with a particular focus on learning, development, collaboration, and creating the best possible conditions for children and young people to thrive.
I am motivated by creating environments where people succeed together and where development is driven by curiosity, courage, and shared responsibility. I am particularly interested in how we translate strategies and ambitions into everyday practice and sustainable change that makes a real difference for children, young people, and the professionals who support them.
I have chosen this programme as an opportunity to further develop my leadership and challenge my own perspectives. I am especially interested in exploring how compassion can play a more active role in leadership – not as a soft alternative to high expectations, but as a way of strengthening trust, engagement, and collective responsibility. I hope to deepen my understanding of how leaders can create environments where people feel both supported and empowered to contribute, grow, and succeed together.
On a personal note, I am married to Bjarke, and together we have three daughters aged 14, 16, and 22. Outside work, I enjoy being actively involved in local communities and spending time with family and friends. I am energised by bringing people together around a shared purpose, creating opportunities for collaboration, and turning ideas into action. Whether in professional or community settings, I enjoy building connections, fostering engagement, and contributing to initiatives that create value for others. My approach is grounded in curiosity, collaboration, and a belief that the best solutions are created together.
