My name is Seimary Gomez, I am a general education teacher at Public School 68, The Port Richmond School for Visionary Learning. As an educator, my passion for knowledge and desire to make a positive impact, influence my goals. My teaching philosophy revolves around creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued and encouraged to reach their full potential. I believe that education is not merely about imparting knowledge but about nurturing the holistic development of individuals. Therefore, I strive to create engaging and interactive lessons that foster academic growth and cultivate critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills.

One of my core strengths as an educator is my ability to connect with students on a personal level. I believe in building strong relationships based on trust, respect, and empathy. By understanding each student’s unique strengths, weaknesses, and learning styles, I tailor my instructional strategies to meet their individual needs, ensuring that every student has the opportunity to succeed. 

Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of teaching a diverse range of students, each with their own aspirations, talents, and challenges. This experience has taught me the importance of embracing diversity and promoting inclusivity within the classroom. I celebrate my students’ unique perspectives and backgrounds, fostering an environment where everyone feels safe to express themselves and share their thoughts. In addition to my dedication to academic excellence, I also strive to instill a love for lifelong learning in my students.
