Sara Wildman is currently a Special Education Coordinator for East County Special Education Local Plan Area (SELPA) and was hired as a part of a grant from the California Department of Education for Individualized Education Program (IEP) Technical Support & Assistance. 

Her work has her assisting districts throughout California to support monitoring IEP compliance and writing high-quality IEPs. She has been a special educator with over 15 years of experience. She has worked in the classroom, as a Teacher on Special Assignment (TOSA) within a due process office, as a Special Education Program Manager, and as a Special Education Administrator of a high school for teens with behavioral and mental health challenges before joining East County SELPA in 2022. 

Her passions have always been how to help students who have typically been marginalized. She loves learning and reading. She is always looking for ways to support students using data with an equity lens.
