I am a 52-year-old woman living in a suburb of Copenhagen with my husband, Frank, and my youngest son, Storm. I am also the mother of Frederik, who is 26, and Sebastian, who is 22. Both have moved out of the family home.

I qualified as a teacher in 1999, and teaching has always been close to my heart.

In 2008, I stepped into my first leadership role, and since then I have worked exclusively in management. I am deeply interested in children who face difficult circumstances in life. This may be in the form of a disability or social circumstances.

As a natural extension of my interests, I am also very interested in how we best include children and differentiate instruction in the Danish public school system. My primary concern is to give children the best possible opportunities for the lives they will lead when they leave compulsory schooling. I am very interested in project-based learning and design thinking.

In my leadership, I am concerned with followership and changes in quality. I also have a particular interest in collaboration with parents and external partners.
