Lynn has been an educator for over 30 years. She has a BEd from the University of Saskatchewan and an MEd from the University of Northern British Columbia.  She has been a teacher, a principal, and a superintendent of schools. Her work in Inclusive Education at the classroom, school, and provincial levels has allowed her to combine her love of learning with her advocacy for building relationship through generative systems and compassionate leadership. Throughout her career, she has focussed on connecting others to themselves, to others, and to the communities and environments around them.  She believes strongly in allowing parents and students choice in education and has spent her career in independent schools in Saskatchewan and British Columbia, Canada. She is currently the principal of British Columbia’s Catholic online school.

Lynn is a mother of three and a grandmother of five. She currently lives and works on the unceded territory of the Syilx Okanagan people where she indulges her love of gardening and making her home a welcoming and safe space for friends and family. She relaxes by reading and kayaking along the beautiful Okanagan Lake. She is excited to dive deeper and learn more about Compassionate Systems Leadership while seeking to more deeply integrate its emphases on connectedness and awareness into British Columbia’s network of independent schools.
