I am a settler on the unceded traditional lands of the Saik’uz nation and I am honored to live, work and play on these lands that I hold so dear to my heart.
I am a family member first in life, a mother to three amazing teenagers and a wife to a great man. About 10 years ago my husband and I moved our family to the small town that I was raised in to embrace a quieter schedule and deep connections. We are very connected to our community through sports and community groups and are always grateful for the village of people around us.
I work as an educator, teaching grade 7 in a middle years environment. I absolutely love middle years learners and the faith in humanity they ignite in me each day. I was introduced to Compassionate Systems in 2021 and have appreciated the lens in which they allow me to look at the systems that I work and live in. I am excited to continue in this work and look forward to this opportunity.
I am an artisan and am passionate about pottery making, it provides me with sanity and allows me to express myself through tactile and practical artistry.
