Since she was a young girl, Hanin’s dream was to grow up and support vulnerable families.  Now she is currently working as Middle East Director for Partners Relief and Development Organization to support the vulnerable children and their families in Iraq, Syria and Yemen. 

Hanin has 9 years of experience in the humanitarian sector with International organizations (Oxfam, ADRA, SOS Children’s Villages). Her objective is responding to the Syrian, Iraqi and Palestinian impacted population. This is by providing emergency support and development projects to respond to the severe needs of the displaced people and the host communities. In 2018, Hanin joined the community solution program with IREX Organization. While in the U.S., Hanin worked with Women’s Initiative For Self-Empowerment (WISE) in St. Paul, Minnesota, where she developed a healthy relationship curriculum for young immigrants and refugees, supported the organization in their financial strategic plans, planned for conferences, and introduced the community to the trauma impact on immigrants and refugees.

Hanin is deeply motivated to join the Certification Program for Compassionate System Master Practitioners to develop practical and theoretical tools necessary to support the implementation of compassionate systems in responding to refugees’ needs and the employees who works under severe situations. The objective of such project is to prevent, mitigate and stop the conflict and reduce the social tension between Refugees and host communities by bringing people with different backgrounds and develop safe spaces for their growth. 

Beside her work, Hanin is passionate about volunteering to support youth in developing their skills to be integrated with the communities and minimizing the crisis impact on their professional and personal lives through several leadership, project management training provided for them. In addition, Hanin volunteered to support the Syrian Youth Peace-building with Syrian Youth Assembly organization, which is based in Germany and dedicated to resolve the conflict among Syrian youth, where Hanin participated in several Hate speech webinars with International speakers. 

Her education background in Economics from Damascus University combined with her work experience has provided her with a strong foundation in research and analysis to be successful in managing such projects. Hanin completed leadership and project management training by George Mason University and community solution program with IREX organization and she is certified TOT Youth Peace-building training by UNOY.
