I am currently the Principal of the British School of Jakarta (BSJ), Indonesia. My career in international education is now over 25 years, and this is my thirteenth as a Head of School.

Originally from the United Kingdom (UK), I graduated from Exeter University with a BA in Education and latterly gained a Masters (M.Ed.) in Educational Leadership and Management from Buckingham University in the UK. My career from a Physical Education and History teacher has spanned seven countries and three continents, working in either British or International Schools.

I was fortunate enough to be introduced to the Compassionate Systems Awareness shortly before departing The Hague, Netherlands and coming to Jakarta in June 2018. I found work captivating and enthralling, and since January 2019 BSJ has been fully committed to the implementation of a Wellbeing Framework based upon Compassionate Systems integrity.  Married to Yenifer, we are both keen learners of Compassionate Systems and are both looking forward to the course immensely. Away from work, I have always enjoyed playing and watching sport, as well as travelling and exploring new destinations.
