School District 92: Nisga’a

I’m a dedicated educational leader with a deep passion for inclusive education, lifelong learning, and collaborative growth. As Director of Instruction with the Nisga’a School District, I oversee key areas including mental health, safe and caring schools, curriculum implementation, crisis response, and data-informed progress. My work is driven by a belief that every learner deserves to feel seen, supported, and empowered.
I thrive on building strong relationships across teams, schools, and communities, always seeking opportunities to learn from others and foster shared success. I bring warmth, clarity, and a thoughtful approach to leadership, grounded in a strong connection to my family and a commitment to making education more equitable and responsive.
I’m especially passionate about the work of the Center for Systems Awareness and the compassionate systems framework. This approach has deeply influenced how I think about leadership, systems change, and the importance of cultivating awareness, empathy, and shared purpose in educational spaces. It aligns with my belief that sustainable transformation begins with how we show up for one another — with compassion, curiosity, and courage.
Whether I’m guiding strategic initiatives or supporting educators on the ground, I lead with integrity, empathy, and a vision for education that uplifts everyone.
