Antoine Béland
Directeur Général Adjoint
Camp De-La-Salle
Canada: Québec | NORTH AMERICA
Antoine has a strong vision for the role of education and the leadership of young people in cultivating societies where people understand the interdependence that ties their lives together and work to grow the well-being of whole communities and achieve social justice.
He has been an educator in the field for over ten years in various settings, working closely with teenagers in his hometown Montréal and across the world. He also completed a Master’s degree in International Education Policy at the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
Antoine was part of the first class of Compassionate Systems Master Practitioners in 2019-2020. In October of 2020 he started to work as part of the staff of the Center for Systems Awareness with responsibilities to develop the Youth Leadership programs and strategy.
In January 2022 he started a new role as Assistant Director at the summer camp where he grew up and first got his calling to education. He hopes to use what he is learning as part of the Compassionate Systems community to better serve the kids and counselors who attend camp and hopefully transform the state of education in his province of Québec.
