My name is Amber Abraham. My husband Shane and I have been married for ten years, and we have 3 daughters. My oldest Jordan is 4, Samara is 2.5, and my youngest, Reagan just turned 2. These girls are such huge blessings to us as we were told that we would not be able to have children. They definitely keep us on our toes, and there is seldom a dull moment in our home. I was born and raised in Southern California, but have lived in Texas, Oklahoma, and Haiti. Traveling is a huge passion of mine, and I especially love traveling to third world countries and working with people to learn more about their cultures.

After teaching 5th grade for 10 years, I left the classroom and moved to the Ventura County Office of Education. I currently work as the Coordinator for Designated Subjects and CTE. I really love that I am able to work with teachers, helping them to find value in their life experience and the work they do. I am excited to be part of this new cohort in Compassionate Systems and ready to learn new strategies and tools that I can implement in my daily life to have a positive impact on those around me.
