Exploring Compassionate Systems : How do we live well as individuals and as a collective?
With the increasingly alarming youth mental health crisis in Hong Kong, there has been widespread stress and worry among adults, especially those engaged in youth-related work. Many of us are wondering: How might we cultivate well-being more systemically? How might we serve our community well, while at the same time avoiding burnout ourselves?
Hosted by CATALYST Education Lab (CEL), this Convening on May 18, 2024, was facilitated by Peter Senge (MIT thought leader, Co-founder of Compassionate Systems) and Jane Drake (Managing Director of Center for Systems Awareness). This Convening aimed to create a space for participants to check in more deeply with themselves, connect with other companions engaged in youth-related work (e.g. educators, social workers, health or other NGO practitioners), as well as grapple together on how we can live well as individuals and as a collective through Compassionate Systems tools.
