Welcome to the Site Development page
Welcome to your all-in-one page for Site Development! We suggest saving this page for easy access. We'll keep everything up to date here, so you can rely on this page instead of email updates (but we'll still send you emails).
You'll find session details and recordings here, and to join a session, you can find the zoom link in the timeline below. We've also added resources and examples of how to implement these tools. We've also included some guided meditation practices from our contemplative faculty, which you can download and keep handy.
For any comments or questions, you are always welcome to reach out to Trina Haygaru.

CYCLE 6 FRAMEWORK
Boundary conditions
We will have nine sessions over three months, so be mindful of the scope of the vision you set for yourself. Focus on the process, not the outcome. Be realistic and hold yourself accountable!
Process Requirements
developing an intentional practice...
We invite you to define a practice you wish to nurture over the next 3 months. This should take the form of a purpose statement.
Some examples could be...
"I aspire to show up more authentically in my relationships”
“I aspire to be less controlled by my insecurities and anxieties”
“I aspire to find my role in climate activism”
“I aspire to contribute to a more generative social field in my classroom/school”
“I aspire to become more compassionate and inspire others to be compassionate”
weekly journaling...
You are expected to journal at least once a week, reflecting on how you and your project are developing. You will use these reflections to illustrate your personal Miro frame.
peer-to-peer learnings
You are expected to engage in all three peer-to-peer sessions, during which you will reflect on each other’s projects with a smaller group of peers from the Youth Council.Â
inviting a third party...
Each member will invite an external person or community for feedback and perspectives on your personal development.
You can decide how and when to involve the person or community in your project. While this requires a bit of courage, we know that integrating what you are learning and practicing in the Youth Council with the world outside our bubble is essential. That is why we want you to inspire and be inspired by perspectives from your local community or someone with experience with the topic of your project.
If you need help or have questions, reach out to us!
Portfolio Requirements
You are expected to make weekly entries into your Miro frame, culminating in an online portfolio of your learning throughout the cycle. Be as creative as you like! Just remember that the purpose of the portfolio is not to make it as visually appealing as possible but to help us gain some insight into each other's learning journeys. So be as authentic as you dare to be!Â
These reflections will inform the Share Your Journey activity we'll host at the last Youth Council session and at the Global Community Call. This isn't a formal presentation, rather it's a chance to be in conversation with your peers talking about the growth you've experienced and how it's shaping your future trajectory.
Here you can find resources and recordings related to each session.
RESOURCES for contemplative practice
In the Youth Council we will explore how to cultivate personal leadership and integrate what we learn in our own lifes. In our experience, that need practicing, which is why we strongly recommend a personal cultivation practice.
As an invitation to establish a regular cultivation practice we have prepared five guided practices for you, guided by our contemplative faculty, Søren Munk and Hanneli Ågotsdatter.
You can find a morning and evening practice as well as three other foundational practices. While there's many other possible practices, this selection provides a solid basis for a varied cultivation practice.
You can either listen to it online or download them to save for later.
